The Intellian C700 is the latest marine satellite internet terminal to make use of Iridium's new high speed data service, Iridium Certus®.
Stay connected anywhere in the world, with the Intellian C700 you have the speed to use the terminal as a standalone communication system or it is ideal as a VSAT backup.
Using Iridium's global satellite network, the Intellian C700 offers pole to pole coverage for high speed satellite internet and voice access. Following Iridium's approval to offer GMDSS services by the IMSO in Jan 2020, the C700 will offer GMDSS compatibility when the service becomes available.
The 12 element patch antenna offers excellent performance during any ship motion with up to 352 kbps upload and 704 kbps download speed - while the C700 is ideal as a VSAT backup, it is also powerful enough to use as a standalone communications system. Streaming IP is also available.
The compact antenna connects by a single coaxial cable to the below deck unit offering Ethernet/WAN, phone and WiFi connectivity. Three high quality, low latency phone lines can be used simultaneously while the Short Burst Data feature provides global satellite tracking capabilities.
